Yes they are fair points. I'm quite sensitive when it comes to my kids, (and maybe my post wrongly reflected that), and yes, safety was a major factor when choosing a RRS.

I identified the problem with my non-heated seat by buying new elements from LR and plugging them into the loom under the seat base prior to doing any seat removal.
