It may be worth checking your battery connections and earth points regarding the electrical issue |

I'm sure the recommended minimum thickness is 27mm,,, the discs being 30mm new. They should be measured to find out exactly how big this lip is. |

I also had the exact same issue,, rather than spend hours struggling I cut the pipe on the vertical section and used a straight pushfit connector,, 8mm I believe. |
