I saw them too when the thread was new. They weren't on a TDV8 they were on an SC.

The fact that Bowler say that they fit means you should have no problem returning them if they don't.

Side steps can be taken off without any problem, some trim needs to be cut to install mudflaps so they may leave a mark.

This can happen if you are not using the AC - turn it on for a few minutes (cold air).
