The first few pulls on mine were also a nasty black, almost used diesel oil black.
PSF is also hygroscopic like brake fluid. |

| Does it go away if you unplug the sensors and short the car side connectors? Check each plug individually, may have a dud sensor. If that doesn’t work then you need to start chasing the wiring. |

Oddly you’re supposed to check the oil level with the engine warmed up. It’s also usually best to change oil on a warm engine so anything in the oil is suspended and gets drained.
