2007 Supercharged for the weekend | |
I'm heading off to Vancouver on Friday for a bit of business. My business partner, who's travelling with me, has arranged (don't ask...connections in all the right places!) for a brand new, 2007 Range Rover Sport Supercharged to be waiting for us when we arrive Friday afternoon in Vancouver. Plans are to give it a try with a fast drive up the Sea to Sky highway from Vancouver to Whistler and back on Saturday afternoon. Friday night will be a "get acquainted" drive into Yaletown for dinner.
Have camera and much enthusiam. Will report with pics and impressions! Impatient to see how it performs in real snow
Is it still Thursday? 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE, Java/Ebony/Cherry, Privacy, Sunroof, PTI, Premium Sound, SatNav, Cold Climate, Tow kit, CarStyle coded grill and vents, Tasmods, Stormers, JE Exhaust, Autobiography badge

I've been busy...but here's the final on this one. The RRS Supercharged never came through as we put in the request too late. Ended up getting a Lincoln Navigator....the persistent nausea and embarrassement trauma caused by driving this "car" (term used in the broadest sense) is only just now beginning to ebb. Needless the to say - I did not bother with pics - that would have suggested I'm also into collecting photographs of roadkill.
The upside however is that the deal behind all this travel is still moving forward and if we win the bid for the assets - I'll be moving to Vancouver and getting an RRS Supercharged for the garage. Needless to say, I'm paying attention to that MY08 thread. 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE, Java/Ebony/Cherry, Privacy, Sunroof, PTI, Premium Sound, SatNav, Cold Climate, Tow kit, CarStyle coded grill and vents, Tasmods, Stormers, JE Exhaust, Autobiography badge
