I feel your pain, Kam - this is exactly what happened to me (well, without the restaurant and nice meal) the last time it snowed. I got stuck on the hill up out of the village where I live... luckily it was 6.30am and no-one was around to see me. Turned TC off and was lucky enough to get enough traction to spin her round.... it does make you look like a muppet though. Esp with noddy front-wheel drive Fiat Pandas with their thin tyres and 70bhp happily passing you up the hill!! Big Cry Laughing

Wheels and tyres are fine fortunately, was just stuck in a load of slush and ice.. got to the restaurant at about 8pm when temp was around 1 degc, then left at close to 11pm when it was -0.5 so the snow changed to ice pretty rapidly, plus it was a side service road, so no treatment to the road at all!

Just thought i'd add.. have brought my car to work again today.. fortunately without incident at any point/no slips/no skid etc.. but pulled on the car park which is still quite fresh with iced up snow, and i proceeded to nearly slide onto my ass about 10 times between the car park and the office front door.. hope noone was watching!! I had a play in the snow when I got to work yesterday in a good 6"+. Used the snow setting on the dial. Really great traction No probs on 20" wheels even though tyres are due for replacement soon.
When I left at 1am I just floored it leaving a colleague floundering in his car with a big grin of satisfaction. TDV6 - gone

Just found this image on my phone from Christmas eve, last time we went up to the Troodos.

Pls note Mrs ST in the background!

Quite impressive Cybershot cameras on these Sony Ericsson phones.

I don't know. A bit out of touch to be honest.

If they are standard fit 19's, I think they look great. A lot better than MY05/06. Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award Sad

I must admit I prefer the newer design - a bit more elegant than the previous version.

Haven't seen hardly any cars with them on though in person.

ITS CHUCKING IT DOWN WITH SNOW NOW! HAVE ANOTHER CLIENT MEETING TONIGHT, Have moved it forward to 630pm in case of repeat incident as last night.. will be nicking the quattro this time, but even that 20 inch low profiles.. its gonna slither i think.. MY GOD.. WHERE ARE ALL THE ANTI 4x4'ERS RIGHT NOW!!

I NEED ONE!! I HATE THIS F'ING WEATHER, and i live in the city/town, what about country folk..
Went for a walk up the road at lunch to get my friday treat chicken and chips.. and left the 335 on the car park, so now it will be proper dug in.. (got stuck for a short minute last night..) reckon it will be stuck proper now.. absolutely hammering down with snow.. WHO WISHED FOR THIS Censored >> ??

It's times like these you realise what you gave away Embarassed

At least we still have the Freely in the garage - if we didn't have that we'd be truly stuck. All snow's gone here now tho.
