United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Alaska White

I am sure the queue outside the Receiver is huge this morning with people reporting the findings !!

VA not sure of the legality - there is an offence of 'Theft By Finding' which comes under the Theft Act, but I am not sure whether it applies to goods washed ashore.

Will interesting to see what happens over the next few weeks. I am sure the Insurance Companies will be sending thier investigators down to try and track down the more expensive items. MY10 TDV6 HSE, Alaska White, Ebony with Contrast, Park Heat, Paddle Shift, Privacy, Heated Steering Wheel, Extended & Premium Leather,

MY07 TDV6 HSE, Zermatt Silver, Gone

Honestly what they are doing is not illegal. The police were even handing out the forms needed to declare the goods as people left the beech. What is illegal is not declaring the salvage.

VA looks like your right -

The normal payout on salvage claims is about 40% of the value. Looks like the motley bunch have made some money - if they report it.

I have a good sized box trailer, anyone want a lift, on my way down to Devon now and taking orders.... MY10 TDV6 HSE, Alaska White, Ebony with Contrast, Park Heat, Paddle Shift, Privacy, Heated Steering Wheel, Extended & Premium Leather,

They've closed the beach now (although it took the shipping company to set up their own cordon, god forbid the police did it!) Crying or Very sad

I know, however these people have NO intention of declaring it - I'm sure of that

Laughing

A mate of mine's office is in a bunch of converted containers with those little portholes cut into the side. All very trendy! Rolling Eyes
