Beep over speed bumps & rev's when cold P400

Hi, wonder if someone can help. I have not long bought a RRS HST P400 2020, loving it even not too bad on fuel unless I'm playing. One thing is annoying me is when I go over most speed bumps I get a "beep beep" unless I crawl over it, and mostly when the rear wheels are coming off the bump.

Another question for the group is when starting the p400 when cold the engine rev's quite high like 1600 rev's for maybe 20 to 30 seconds then settles down to tick over to around 750ish, maybe it's normal? I have been so used to diesel Land Rovers for years now which don't rev as high when cold. Anyone else with the p400 could maybe help with that? TIA.

Update: Well you guy's were spot on it was a case of the sensitivity adjustment on the LR dashcam, so just adjusted it and bingo no more beeping. thanks for your help. Very Happy

This is probably way off the mark, but do you have a dashcam fitted? as on my Thinkware camera it has a impact/motion setting if it is set too sensitve it beeps over speed bumps etc. so have it set as off. Probably of no relevance to your issue but only a suggestion.

Cheers
Col

My P200 Evoque (same 2ltr 4 pot ingenium engine?) and a P250 I breifly had does the same. I guess it's a protocol to ensure oil pressure on start up. I do tend to let the revs drop before engaging gear.
My Thinkware does the same, its letting me know its an activation (I have set the sensitivity quite low though).

Thanks for your reply, same answer as Col on the dashcam will have a look at that, maybe try switching it off see if it still does it.
Good to know the petrol rev's are kinda normal cheers.
