I just noticed that Disco Mikey did get some fitting instructions so maybe it was just missed from my kit... Robin 2008 Range Rover Sport TDV8 Gone: Jaguar S-Type V8 4.2 Sport MGZTT 190 2.5 |

Just opened one of these kit's and you don't actually get fitting instructions in there, just a piece of paper telling you to go to the website below or scan the barcode on the paper which will take you to the instructions etc. https://accessories-instructions.landrover...0/G3356337 Cheers Col |

My letter arrived at the weekend. As I've got a Tow Trust kit fitted, I don't need the kit and as I'm unlikely to sell the car to anyone who's going to be that worried about it (it's got 166k miles on it now), seems pointless going through the motions. So I'll say "don't have a detachable tow ball" even though I actually do have one in the boot that could be fitted if/when the Tow Trust kit is removed. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

I received two letters, one for my current RRS and one for my old love that finally went to pasture at 207k miles and 19 years. As the removable tow bar will be ‘ bolted’ to the car does anyone know of a modified bumper plate that can be put in place when not in use to cover the space but accommodate the now not removable, removable tow bar. It may seem like a small thing but when you have a lovely looking vehicle the gap in the bumper for the tow bar looks ugly when not towing. Am I being too precious? |

Picked the kit up yesterday from Duckworths near Boston, the receptionist asked me if I would like the fitting instructions, I received a full printout of approximately 12 sheets showing step by step picture instructions, I already have one of the plates fitted as pictured previously in this thread been on there for about five years now, I used to always remove the tow hitch but it eventually seized in situ, so now it's on permanently. |

Did you have to go through a process of letting a main stealer look at your vehicle, or was the kit just handed over having said "yes, I have a removeable tow ball"? 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

The girl on the desk had a list of names that were coming in & simply went & collected the box of parts required, she then came out to my car with me & made a note of the mileage. I had previously received a text telling me that the car would have a pre MOT check & a complimentary wash , to which I replied that I only require the towball kit , I didn't have time for all that nonsense as we were picking it up en route to see friends for lunch. |
