None.

Only thing outside of wear at service was a new headlight after losing a battle with a pigeon.

ETA: I replaced both batteries

So, had a suspension fault, and the car went to the dealership on February 2nd. Got her back yesterday.

Still the best car ever.

10 years and still going strong. That's a good news posting for change (compared to so many "it's broken" ones we get).

Bow down Thumbs Up 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

And, unfortunately, it's now broken!

10 years and two weeks old. Couldn't renew the extended warranty as turned 100k miles. Half way to work this morning, started to sound like a tractor. Being recovered (insurance) to the dealership tomorrow. Timing chain possibly.

So, update....

Extended diagnosis (9th June) showed a broken ancillary chain tensioner (an A/C pipe and coolant pipe were broken in the process):

This is the chain at the bottom of the engine that drives the high pressure fuel pumps and the oil pump. The tensioner is tensioned by a spring, which has either broken or pinged off.

This is a photograph taken from the web of the tensioner and its spring:

Continued conversations apparently between the dealership and JLR, but was informed on July 7th that no goodwill contribution and a £10.5k estimate, which included a new supercharger.

I asked for a list of what would have been replaced had this failure occurred 10 days earlier when the car was still under warranty, which arrived today. I understand replacing the lower tensioner requires dropping the oil pan and removing the engine. I was told that they would also replace all chains, the four VVT sprockets, the four VVT solenoids, both chain tensioners and guides, the three timing chain covers, the crank sprocket, ... I have left the supercharger out of the equation - if there is a fault with this (failed coupler at best), it almost certainly happened before the warranty expired, but life is too short. I want the car back.

So, looking forward to collect her sometime, August possibly. I hope part availability doesn't come back to punch me again - she was there for 5 months last year waiting for a part. Google Earth:

This has been, and is, the most fabulous car.

It has been the fifth new Range Rover I have bought on the trot. Unfortunately for the dealers I suppose, I always pay cash.

I was looking forward to start a "My SV Story (picture heavy)" thread, speccing something like a Gaea from the Celestial collection to sit alongside the SVR, but this fabulous SVR will now probably remain with me as my last RR.

Will update when I get her back.

Sucks for that to happen just past the 100k, she's done brilliantly though! 2021 P400e Autobiography

Indeed. The 10 days after expiration of the warranty was the kicker.

Are you having everything replaced, that they said would normally have been done if they had accepted the warranty claim, with the exception of the s/c?

Cheers
