Automatic Gearbox Cooler Pipes

Hi All
Dies anybody know which pipes are the flow and return on the automatic gearbox cooler?

Top picture extract from workshop manual for 8 speed box. Items No. 3 Return pipe, No. 4 Supply Pipe from transmission. Second picture 6 speed box, No.2 Return, No.3 Supply

Bottom picture is from a 5.0L with 6 speed, but manuals say's same for all 6 speed variants, although I think the 5.0L has a different cooler.
