Dreaded Restricted Performance Mode

Hi we are away on Camping Holidays, RRS 2011 3 litre, every now and then restricted performance mode is coming on.

I have a cheap Bluetooth reader in the car and an phone app that shows codes

P006a
P00bd

I can reset them and on testing, it seems to only occur when letting off the throttle after the 2nd turbo has kicked in, its quite happy to rev over 4k, but as soon as you let off, restricted performance mode kicks in.

I'm guessing there's some sort of solenoid stuck not dumping pressure from the turbo thats making this flag up with those codes, and how it runs fine until that point?

Like said we are away camping, i do have tools, if needs be.

What's anyone else's thoughts or ideas, or what I'm actually looking for ?

Thanks

James

Full codes would be better - 00

Clean your MAF sensors, check for splits in the hose. L320 Range Rover Sport 2008

Unfortunately, that's the best I can read until I get home and get the laptop out.

My first port of call was clean the maf sensors, I've even swapped them around, to test them, pipes I've run my hands over what I can reach.

But after a bit of testing its not a problem getting to power, like you'd expect with a split hose, its as your easing off the power after the 2nd turbo kicks in, you get the Restricted performance mode appear.

So as those 2 codes show a difference between maf pressure and manifold pressure I'm guessing the turbo isn't dumping the boost as powering down, as that's when the restricted performance kicks in.

If the manifold, pipe or intercooler had a problem, I'd expect it have a problem getting the turbo to boost to start with, unless I'm very wrong, hence asking ?

Just my uneducated mechanic guess anyway 😂

As a test I've swapped the mafs around as they have same part numbers ?

My codes have swapped from airflow too high bank a P00bd to air flow too high bank b p00bf, think may have found the culprit 😂
