Desperate! Oil starved, does 2.7 HDI bottom end fit tdv6?

Well, I'm new on the forum and I've been trying to get answers and help, before getting into the thick of things. I live on a remote island, near Mauritius, a french overseas region island called Réunion Island and I totally love Range Rover. Here's the story :
I've had, 3 times, crankshaft issues. First and second because of the oil pump that was changed, then, because of water getting into the bottom end... So, to make a long story short, I repaired it and the car was running great in my backyard. so I decided to get her out for a gentle ride, before getting everything together. Drove for about 8 kms, then a smell of oil appeared, I thought it was the oil on the engine after the repair, then smoke came. I stopped and there was no leak. And by the time I got home, there appeared a rattle (back to when I had repaired it) and checking the oil level, it was completely empty and the engine rattling. So Someone is selling a 2.7 HDI engine. Just wanted to know if the innards are the same (apart from the turbos) and if I could use the bottom end and some parts to get my RRS back on the road. Thanks for your response.

the bolt pattern between the engine block and gearbox are different.
so you can't use the block

Thanks Andy. But could I use the crankshaft only, then? Mine didn't spin in. But the conrod bearings must have been ruined in the process.

maybe. I don't know.

Jaguar engines are closer to the landrover

You need to understand why it smoked? Turbo issue?

Oil in cylinders?

Worth taking the turbo pipes off to investigate if oil inside.

I'll be doing that. Removing pipes, turbo... but I'd like to refurbish it properly when the engine's off, which I have to do now, but living such a long way away and having not much TDV6 around, if the innards are the same, I'd like to use them.
