JLR SDD Engineering Mode without Seed Code

Good evening everyone,

Not sure if people are aware but wanted to share with you about editing the CCF in JLR SDD.

Normally you’d have to enter a seed code to unlock the ability to fully edit the CCF. However if you navigate to your drive where SDD is installed, for example C:, select Program Files(x86), SDD Folder, Runtime folder then look for a file called “Software Download” which is a html file and double click.

It will load up the webpage where you can enter all relevant data for your Range Rover which will allow you to edit the CCF without needing a seed code.

Just remember in the User Preferences to select Engineering under User Mode.

Hope that helps 👍

SDD only caters for vehicles upto 2017 when the CAN architecture changed, anything later you'll need Pathfinder and a DOIP interface. SDD is easy enought to obtain, but no idea on Pathfinder, however I know the DOIP interfaces cost a bloody fortune. Maybe cheaper with the latest Gen of GAP IID.
