If left unused my battery is draining quickly I wonder if other owners have experienced the same? Leaving the car locked with a fully charged battery it's at 13.1v day 1, by day 7 12.5v, after 10 days below 12v and shortly after unable to start.

Has anyone found the same? A standard Autobiography D350 other than a Starline i96. I've used the same alarm on multiple vehicles and they last for weeks. Perhaps the alarm is keeping other systems awake, there is a vehicle fault, or that they are all shockingly bad?

Would like to know from other owners before disconnecting/removing the alarm and fault finding, thanks 👍

Finally had chance to look at this, nothing to do with the alarm unfortunately. Starline draws just 50 mA, vehicle drops to around this after 2 minutes and then after 5 minutes (tested multiple times) steps up to 0.6 amps.

I don't have much faith in a dealer sorting this 😪

Were those measurements with the alarm disconnected?

Yes completely disconnected and unplugged. Alarm connected or not at exactly 5 minutes after locking something wakes up and constantly draws 0.5 amps. Surprised the battery lasts 10 days but don't know the battery capacity.

Would be interesting to see if another one is the same.

Just a thought - you haven’t had a recent software update that coincided with problem? LR Assist told me they if an update doesn’t fully complete, you get a battery drain as it keeps trying to pull the new data down but repeatedly fails. Mine went completely flat eventually and needed to call them out.

I had the same issue on my P440E, it was identified by Land Rover Assist as a faulty Battery Energy Control Module (BECM). Software update fixed the issue. The Mild hybrids likely have a similar module. RRS Autobiography P460E

Would they update the software or just jump the battery to start it?

In my case they jump started the car and then did a full fault code scan, identified the issue with the BECM and updated the software. RRS Autobiography P460E

They are very experienced at fault finding and will either fix it or let your dealer know what is necessary.

It didn't take long to go flat again, with security phoning today due to battery voltage. I phoned LR assist and this afternoon they updated most modules. It appears that both headlamp modules were the cause and not powering down. Time will tell, I'll report back in a few days if it's resolved. Thanks for the advice 👍
