It must have had a good whack then, as the bracket sits within the crash bar and the radar sensor only slightly protrudes out of the crash bar.

There is a special JLR tool to align the bracket (a bit like a spirt level) as : -

I have not had any errors saying the sensor is blocked. Just the fault listed below indicating out of alignment. I have a Gap ID Tool, I wonder if there is a recalibration process I could try? I don’t trust the dealer to remove the bumper without damaging anything I assume it would be a dead end seeing as my RRS has never been hit. 2020 SVR / R.I.P. 2019 SVR / 2016 D4 Landmark / 2005 D3 HSE |

I don't think there is anything on the IID to calibrate the sensor, Pathfinder will calibrate it with a drive cycle but that fault is saying it's too far out for a software calibration.

Thanks for sending the PDF. It references the bracket being pushed out of alignment at low speed, had I hit something or something hit me then I would 100% think it is that. However, that hasn't happened.

Was it ok before it went in for service? Bottom line in my mind is; if it was ok before the service and then the problem appeared after the service, or whilst in service - then it's their problem.

Code happened before the service, I thought it was a one off so I cleared it with Gap ID tool. Then they flagged it as a fault during service, I had it happen again on the drive home. Appears to be permanent as this point. 2020 SVR / R.I.P. 2019 SVR / 2016 D4 Landmark / 2005 D3 HSE |
