Hi Martin,
I hope I am not too late and am new to this forum.

Re the thread - you say to "get the right one".

I am looking at a heated steering wheel for my RRS L494 2017 on ebay, apparently it is off an Autobiography so am assuming it would fit. Do you have any thjoughts on what more I can do to ensure it "will work"?

Also, I spoke to a mechanic friend of mine a while back and he said it was actually quite a complex job (his contact did whjo specialises in RRS), needing software upgrades and a lot of faff with the wiring. Any thoughts much appreciated.
