| Col Member Since: 02 Sep 2012 Location: Hawkes Bay NZ Posts: 5156      | I think it depends on how much of the system you have disturbed, if just replacing fluid or fitting new flexi brake pipes etc. can be done the old method with a jar and tube, pressure bleeder or vacuum pump etc. If the hydraulic control unit etc. has been removed, replaced for example I believe it has to be bleed via diag. equipment to I assume open various valves/solenoids. I am in the near future about to change the fluid and renew the flex pipes on mine so did read up on it a bit. As a point of interest when I replaced the accumulator and steel brake pipes on my old P38 certainly never connected it to any diag. tool to bleed the system.
