OK so just got back! Need to be careful what I say as signed an NDA valid until 10th May which is the date the car goes public at 7pm!

I was also told at today's VIP event that deliveries would start in Sept which surprised and pleased me. I have to be careful what I say because like everybody else I signed a NDA but I think L-R have done a great job with the new RRS and have certainly addressed my criticisms of the existing model. Yup the colour choice is a bit disappointing - any colour you like so long as its a bit grey and oddly the HSE model seems to have been ditched leaving only the SE and Autobiography but I guess the HSE and other models will come along later. And yes prices have gone up substantially mirroring the prices rises for the new FFRR; it will be interesting to see whether prices in other markets like the USA have similarly increased |

I agree Naks - not a patch on the existing 5.0 V8, I guess mainly due to turbo rather than supercharger.

Has there been any talk of a full Electric? I assume the hybrid will be the Full Fats 6 cylinder version 2014 MY RRS HSE Dynamic

Maybe the RRS version will have a different exhaust design giving a different / more noise? The Full Fat is supposed to be the refined one, after all. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders 2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed |

I'm sure the new RRS exhaust system will be tuned differently, I don't anticipate it will hold a candle to the current SCV8 noise. 2020 SVR / R.I.P. 2019 SVR / 2016 D4 Landmark / 2005 D3 HSE |

I wasn't as keen on it to be honest I actually prefer the larger RR design language it works better.

That's a different back end to the one i saw at the JLR launch, so i suspect its a fake.

All I would say is be careful reading too much into JLR’s timescales. They made similar promises at the L460 launch around when to expect cars and they just haven’t delivered. |
