Suspension pump Temp Sensor

Hi

Hope someone can help me I am trying to find a temp sensor for a Hitachi style suspension pump. I have looked everywhere online but cant find anywhere that sells this part. If anyone has a old Hitachi style pump nocking about I would be happy to pay for the part. pic attached. The part is usually covered with a black cap as in the second pic.

Is there anything like a s/n etc stamped/etched on the sensor?
Have you tried OEM Hitachi?

Try companies like these https://www.sterlingsensors.co.uk

if Goggle etc are not helping send them dimensions and photo's they may be able to identify it

Or you can buy a new pump with sensor included

Bit of a long shot,, but have you looked at these,,
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Land-Rover-Range...3f7fc69b83

They sell overhaul kits for Hitachi compressors,,, mainly the air dryer side and seals etc but you would have nothing to lose giving the guy a call. Read through the full ad and you will find a contact number,,, they may be able to help. 2010 RRS, TDV8

Just curious as to the problem with the sensor as I would think that it is the most reliable of all the bits attached to the compressor,,, apart from physical damage I thought it would outlast the compressor itself. If the issue was constant high temp warnings it could well be a fault with another part. If the compressor runs too long it will overheat,,,, they are only rated to run for a few minutes at a time I think. 2010 RRS, TDV8
