Wrap the post in tin foil to increase the diameter or file the clamp so as to allow it to close more . |

Had the same issue, used a thin strip of metal to go half way round the battery terminal, opened the clamp up as suggested, and tapped it back over the terminal.

I'm with Andy,,, i've had the same trouble, if the terminal is not pushed as far down as possible it will not tighten around the battery post. 2010 RRS, TDV8
