United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 Autobiography Santorini Black
Lower Control arms

Steering has started to shake a little at certain speeds and im getting a knock when i jab the brakes at low speed so im guessing its time to replace the lower control arms.

Local garage have said if i get the parts they will fit for cash.

Looked online and found prices ranging from £120 a pair to over £250 a side. Can someone recommend a set for me please.

Cars a late 2012 AB

Also going to get them to do the sway bar bushes whilst its on the ramp

Thanks

Fitted these Meyle one's on mine, good quality and fitted spot on with no problems. Personal opinion any at £120.00 a pair = cheap and nasty.

And don’t buy cheap bolts either….must go oem….they are torqued up tight and cheap ones are like cheese…

Only use the garage if they know what they are doing.. the bolts can only be tightened when there is a load on them…I.e car sitting on its wheels… four wheel alignment afterwards is a must!

Dropped by TWT because I felt a slight pull to the left.

They showed me that the front lower control arms, which were replaced in June 2022, have excessive front-back movement.

Considering that since they were fitted 487 days ago, I have spent 183 days overseas + I don't drive it daily, that is really dismal quality from LR.

workshop has filed a parts claim with LR Stellenbosch for replacement parts. --
