Any help will be much appreciated.
The car started hesitating/missing firing every 4 to 5 seconds. I decided to try and drive it home as I was only 8 miles from home. When I reached 30 mph, the engine cut out. No warning lights on the dashboard. I could start the car, and it still had the misfire. Reached 20-30 mph again and engine shutdown. After 3 attempts I called a tow truck.
Any suggestions on the problem? Gut feeling its something to do with fuel as no warning lights on the dashboard.

I had this happen to me a couple of weeks ago, 2 days before going on holiday. I stop started for 5 miles to get it to my local garage. Tank out and wiring mod to the sender unit. Perfect for the last 2,000 miles. So glad it didn't happen on holiday.

Yes, I had exactly the same problem. All fixed now. It was a technical BULLETIN LTB00566v6 to solve the problem. The garage told me it quite a common problem.
