At that mileage, probably not. But an oil pressure test before engine removal won't hurt. If the test shows poor pressure, then maybe an inspection of the pump might be a good idea. If the pump looks good, then low(ish) pressure might be the sign of something else like leaking lifters, bearing wear or even a blockage. However, i'd be surprised if you had any problems at that mileage. Joe |
