Been a very long time since I used the paddles, though (also might be a <=2010 thing)? 2014 BMW 530d Touring, 2006 BMW 650i, 2018 Mini Cooper S

Mine will stay in manual if I’m not moving, no matter how long I wait. It also holds the gear if I’m changing throttle position as if readying for an overtake. If I don’t move the throttle it will return to normal quite quickly. You can also deselect manually by holding the Paddle back for 4 seconds??? 2019 5.0 SC SVA (Current)

This reminds me of the first time a friend drove my car - it was already in Sport mode and he was using the paddles when he uttered the words "Doesn't this thing have a Sport mode?" "Er, you're already in it." *look of intense disappointment* Then he tried to throw it around a corner like he was driving his car ... a Gallardo. I thought we were about to end up in the bushes! 2014 BMW 530d Touring, 2006 BMW 650i, 2018 Mini Cooper S
