As far as I can remember, I thought the engine under tray is two piece - a rectangular piece right forward under the radiator and the piece you have ordered which sits under the actual engine.

I don't have a clue mate to be honest, it's my first experience with a RR and it's proven a nightmare already.

The tray was £30 delivered from eBay, from a breaker in Littlehampton if this helps. Arrived next day but yes, it weighs a ton.

I think this part is already in situ in the photo?

Can see the 4 lines or grooves in the metal part pictured which correspond to this part, that's just my logic anyway!

This is the part anyway, not sure if it'll help anybody but it's what the garage sent me. I was having the gearbox re-built and they just gave me the heads up. I ordered it online, dropped it in to them. They didn't charge me anything for fitting it as presumably it was already factored in to the labour for the quote anyway.

Thanks for all the advice anyway, I don't want to clog the thread by replying to everybody but all input was much appreciated Smile

I'd replace it too. Easy enough to do with a trolley jack if you have one. I've had mine off a couple of times and it's not too onerous.

May as well have the protection it provides, even if just from the odd stone chucked by a tyres, or a bit of branch on a road on a windy day. If you ever venture off the tarmac, you'd definitely want it.

Yes, that makes sense. That's why I pointed out those hoses. They do look a bit exposed there. Robin

M10 x 25 bolts plus 2 m10 nyloc nuts for the 2 front outer bolts

Part number for the bolt KYG500500 for the genuine item

otherwise buy 10 bolts and some NORD LOCK washers which will be cheaper...

Spalding fasteners:

The two rear most bolts are actually M10 x 65mm and you will need the spacers that go with them if you don't have them already.
