Finally Found The Right RRS

Well after a few weeks of sole searching on the green side of life and my wife banging on about her electric i3, I have succumbed to a fabulous 2018 P400e HSE dynamic deal done and collection this coming week.
I know many of you will think a 20-30 mile electric range is pointless but not for me, I reviewed our car use and most trips are under 20 miles and the home to pub run is only .8 of a mile each way so I won’t be pumping diesel fumes into the road I live in every time I go out by car.
We only ever charge my wife’s car at home so the lack of public charge points isn’t an issue.
The car I have chosen is perfect for us, the spec is high and includes
Electrically deploying steps
Black and silver 5007 diamond turned wheels
Flux special order paint
Full panoramic sliding roof
Heated and cooled seats
Loads of tech
Soft close doors
Just too much to list
So my current RRS is going in p/x and it will make someone a great car, it has served me well all these years, the reg that will be on her will be OO04MSB so if anyone buys it give me a shout for info, all good

Odd that the dash shows a left hand drive interior for the seat belt warning. Do all L494 do that? Question 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Sorry, I hope it doesn't bug you from now on! Some on here are very OCD about such things it seems if you read some posts. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

I guess you can relax with the knowledge the fumes have likely been pumped out elsewhere during the battery charge electric generation, or during manufacture of so called 'zero emission' generators....not to mention the health of the cobalt child miners..... Rolling with laughter

Very nice RRS though, that sort of run mileage would also suit me fine most of the time but unfortunatly the lack of tow capability keeps me on diesel. 13MY Range Rover Sport Autobiography SDV6 - mine

You are not wrong re fumes pumped out elsewhere but that is the world we live in, all my previous RRS have been diesels and I am sure someone somewhere suffered as a consequence of its manufacture but unless I walk everywhere there’s not much I can do, and even then I would wear out more shoes that would probably be made by child labour .

The reduced towing down to 2.5 ton is fine for me and it drives so much better than the diesels I have owned and driven so until someone comes up will a real green car I will make this best of what suits my needs.

I wish things were different 🤔 Michael
