Try disconnecting the battery for half an hour. May be a software glitch & needs a reset. Just a thought |

The hardest thing is if you have a full size spare is lifting it out of the way as its awkward to say the least. They give you a Heath Robinson strap which must have been designed by a five year old or Heath Robinson |

They have now said they have fixed a bracket and there is no external damage to the radar unit....

Not sure if it is the same bracket on a SVR as other L494's but that is a £15.00 bracket. The Sensor is around £1200.00 so if they want to charge £581.00 that is either a very cheap repair or more likely with L/R a very expensive £15.00 bracket.

Just seems like a awful lot of money to me just to replace the bracket, although will admit I don't know how much work is involved in removing and refitting the bumper and align the sensor. If it is anything like the previous model it takes about a hour or so to change the bumper.

So bracket damaged - but radar still didn’t work . So claimed radar under warranty. So damaged bracket covered .
