Try disconnecting the battery for half an hour. May be a software glitch & needs a reset. Just a thought Thumbs Up

The hardest thing is if you have a full size spare is lifting it out of the way as its awkward to say the least. They give you a Heath Robinson strap which must have been designed by a five year old or Heath Robinson Rolling with laughter
Anyway when its removed, lift a flap which covers the battery then disconnect neg terminal first then pos terminal. Here is a video of someone doing it

Had the LR technician do,e out to me
Couldn’t reset and said radar cruise needs adjusting / calibrating .
Phone up LR grange Hatfield to ask when is next and they say Jan 21st.
So I ask whether it can be done while I wait ..... and I’m still waiting an answer Rolling with laughter

car in grange Barnet and have been told there is a bracket which holds the radar behind the bumper.
Apparently it is buckled and can be caused by small reformable bumper impacts .

They have now said they have fixed a bracket and there is no external damage to the radar unit....
So that may be claimable through warranty

Wowa! Have I got this right? They are saying that:
- The bracket was the problem! Deformed
- It was caused by numerous small bumper impacts which presumably was either you hitting something a lot, or someone hitting you a lot
- Such damage may be covered under warranty?????

Not sure if it is the same bracket on a SVR as other L494's but that is a £15.00 bracket. The Sensor is around £1200.00 so if they want to charge £581.00 that is either a very cheap repair or more likely with L/R a very expensive £15.00 bracket.

Just seems like a awful lot of money to me just to replace the bracket, although will admit I don't know how much work is involved in removing and refitting the bumper and align the sensor. If it is anything like the previous model it takes about a hour or so to change the bumper.

Cheers

So bracket damaged - but radar still didn’t work . So claimed radar under warranty. So damaged bracket covered .
Very odd
