Set of 20 x Brand New wheel nuts.

These nuts are a 1 piece nut that is a far better replacement for the standard nuts with the tin caps that fall off. These nuts are completely solid so will not rust or fall apart.

This is a flat seated nut for standard Land Rover/Range Rover alloy wheels.

^ yes, I am tending to also go for the Alloy Hub ones, they look like a quality product.

Only bug is that they don't ship to ZA, so will have to wait until someone goes to the UK to bring them back. --

I've heard that some of solid ones go rusty after a while (the silver ones). Please let us know how you guys get on after a period of time with them.

For me, I bought a set of new nuts (Bearmach or Britpart, can't remember which) and they are like the LR originals with the caps. Before fitting, I sealed each one with clear silicone sealant so crud cannot get between th cap and the nut underneath to cause corrosion. Hand tools only too but only time will tell how they hold up. Kev

Finally fitted them, I think they look great. And most importantly, they are solid nuts - already struggled with one of the capped ones, so just-in-time!

6 months later, and these are starting to rust already.

And we haven't even had lots of rain/cold weather yet.

Not impressed at all...

That's really disappointing, naks. I suppose the only thing you can do is keep touching them up to keep the rust at bay.

Mine are holding up well with the clear silicone between the cap and the nut underneath. I would think that they would not swell as soon as the surface rust you have experienced however. Kev

Yep, disappointing.

At least I have a can of black spray, will touch these up. --
