I’ve lost count of the amount of cars I’ve had over the years and never once been asked to supply a tracker! The Gap is worth it but like any insurance only if the worst happens. The only advice I can give you is to look after your RRS, if something is wrong get if fixed before it manifests into something bigger. If you can keep a slush fund for repairs. These cars are fab, but unlike normal cars sometimes things that are cheaper on them can cost a fair bit on a RR! Hope you enjoy your new toy..

Yeah I've been thinking about whether to cancel or not, but its the usual balance of losing half a years NCD (again!) plus cancellation fee etc. LV look great, no tracker conditions, but still a whacking great £600 theft excess on top of the voluntary one. I will probably stick with Esure and shop around more when it comes to renewing in March.

Then my wife got her car hit and runned by a turd and then my xc90 got written off by a neighbour from up the road Oct 2018 driving in back of it. That was no fault and I got full replacement value money paid out to get the rrs.

Best online quote I had was from LV who were coming in at £514, which didn't seem too bad. Their policy is quite good, covers against vandalism for example without loss of no claims....I'll probably stick with Esure, and just look to pick up a very basic tracker to satisfy their conditions....Sounds like you've had a run of bad luck with accidents!!?
