I buy nearly all of my fluids from Smith and Allen who are the UK distributors for Shell and very well respected in the enthusiast communities for producing top quality fluids. They are also great value for money because they don't have the flashy advertising overheads like the big companies.

This is what I use in the diffs and transfer case on my sport...

Geartech FS 75w-90 for the diffs (0.6 litres front, 1.1 litres rear) - £12.84 for 5 litres
https://www.smithandallan.com/products/tra...fs-75w-90/

Transfer Fluid 0753 - 1.5 litres for the transfer box - £11.17 per litre
https://www.smithandallan.com/products/tra...luid-0753/

You will notice that Land Rover (along with many other vehicle manufacturers) recommend fluids from particular brands. It is well known in the automotive industry that this is is solely down to commercial partnership. The key thing is that it meets the technical specification for your vehicle.

PS. you will read on some forums that people use the same fluid in the diffs and the transfer box on the Disco 3/4 and the RRS. Whilst people may not have experienced problems in doing this, it is not correct. You must use the 0753 specification fluid for the transfer box.

I hope this helps Thumbs Up Kev
