Air con regas

Air con is blowing cool but not as cold as it should be. My indie is stacked out with work so can’t check it out/ regas for some time.
Anyone had experience of Halfrauds/ Kwiknick etc or can recommend anyone else in the MK area.
Cheers
Chris.

Hi,
had our Mini done at a place called Lodge tyres, may not have a branch near you but think they all work the same way

The machine goes through a cycle and will not proceed if it fails the first test
pressure test first
vac out and maintain for set time
refill with correct amount (dialed in by man at the start)
may get another pressure test at the end?

About a year ago I paid £35 but the gas has risen in price and it depends what price they last bought at Question Porsche Cayenne 2022
gone Porsche Cayenne 2020
gone Corris Grey HSE Dynamic 2016
gone Ipanema HSE lux 2010
gone Rimini HSE 2005
!!

think I would wait for your indi to be free.

Kwikfit just use an automatic machine, and you could end up with a worse position.

Find a local air con specialist who has nitrogen to test the system first as i have found the vacuum test is not that good a test.As the first part of the test is to see if it holds a vacuum but the pressure can actually seal the hole and makes it seem like the system is all ok when in fact there can be a hole i had this on a few cars but if they put nitrogen in it will leak out if there is a hole so far better Thumbs Up
