Hi col
I had a reply from powerhouse and have to say they have given me what I call a good quote apparently they are still saying that the supercharger has to come out but will do a snout rebuild change the oil and coupling all for £700

Sounds reasonable quote if that's all in price, as you say have read it can be done in situ. some say not, did read it can be done in position on Range Rover but not if engine fitted to a Jag due to a lot less access. Time will tell I guess, just post results when it's done. Thumbs Up

Wales 2005 Range Rover Sport Supercharged HSE Java Black

I am about to change this part myself so i assume its the serpentine belt off with the plastic inlet pipes and then the 7 bolts sounds easy enough to do just got my coupler from the states Thumbs Up

Hi I have been told that the supercharger needs to come out on the 2010 5 litre engine as there is no room to do the job with the engine in place so while it is out it will have a snout rebuild a oil change as the drain plug is at the back of the supercharger and the coupler change
