Most companies seem to put about £100 on a policy for a speed awareness course i have heard been talked about |

Keep your license clean and go on the course. A mate of mine has been on 2 (they have to be 3 years or more apart) and he said they were very good and he actually enjoyed them. |

Much depends on the instructors presenting the course. I’ve been invited twice in the last 10 years and the courses are usually led by ex traffic cops.

If a speed awareness course can increase premium...take the points. I`ve never had an increase for an SP30 Most if not all insurance companies allow at least one SP30 Steve. |

The only thing I learnt from the course was that of the 20 persons who attended the course only 3 of them should ever be allowed to drive again...
