Anyone know what these are on my Sport?

Now, I'm the first to say that I am not terribly mechanically minded, but has anyone any idea what these are attached to my rear chassis? They are clearly moveable. And before anyone mentions it I know I am without the spare wheel! (on its way).

This is my first RRS(2006 HSE) and so far I'm loving it!

Ps....any suggestions on tow bars?

I'm guessing (without there being an image) that you mean the hanging weights ?

They're harmonic dampeners, they absorb any resonance that may be transfered into the chassis beams.

Trust TL1 fixed or removable but more ground clearance than the LR fixed version. Otherwise removable ones crop up here quite often

Recently fitted a Tow Trust TL1 removable bar to my RRS. An excellent bit of kit. The removable bars are no longer being made, I believe, so you'd be stuck with the fixed unit but it's still a well made bit of kit. Unlike the Land rover versions, the Tow Trust one actually drives the locking pin in to place and then physically holds it there with a bolt. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Really appreciate the quickness too! New to this forum and RRS's in general but will be on here asking all sorts of inane questions......i guess that's why the forum is here?!
