I have had a Diskloc but be careful if you leave the car any length of time as they can mark the leather on the steering wheel, also check the sizes carefully as I couldn't get the one recommended for RRS to fit on the steering wheel of my 2015MY L494. Halfords happily took it back but didn't have the next size up so I bought the StopLoc clamp/ bar thing and that fits well on both my RRS and my Defender. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Those stoplocks are great, provide a nice bit of extra leverage to help break the steering lock. |

Even without the contactless key, i believe thieves can break into the RRS, remove the side of the dash, plug a device in and clone the key information. Is this not the case? I am waiting to pick up my 2013 RRS, my first ever. Due to my concerns about the high theft rates of RRS, i am considering getting a Viper or Clifford secondary alarm/immobiliser and even a Tracker chip. |
