Tyre pressure monitoring system

I am surprised to find that my car (2012 3.0SDV6 AB) doesn't appear to have any form of tyre pressure monitoring system.

Can that be right? Merc C220 estate Sport AMG
Merc C220 estate Sport AMG 125 year edition
Alfa GT
Rover 76 V6

I have it on my RRS1 A/B 400 odd pound option, total waste of money as all it does is flash a warning if pressue drops below around 20psi. on any paticular wheel or wheels it does not show the actual pressure.The RRS2 I believe has a better system
