 Ok thought so but I was hoping there maybe a fix, I'd there an upgrade that you know of that would fit instead of replacing it with the same one. Thanks a lot it's great to chat to someone that knows what there talking about. | ||

 You might be able to get hold of a used unit from a forum member if you post up a 'wanted' in sale or wanted section? If you want to replace the head unit with something more modern (or even a tablet) then there are loads of posts by folk who have done that in this section: http://www.rrsport.co.uk/forum/in-car-electronics-vf28.html Expensive though! Cheapest option - don't bother with CDs at all and just use your smartphone with a long lead (lightning connector/jack) plugged into the aux jack socket at the rear of the centre console. Or use a cheap bluetooth dongle in the aux jack. 2008 MY Java Black TDV8 HSE   | ||

| Camelrock Member Since: 31 Aug 2013 Location: North Yorkshire Posts: 1003      | Welcome to the club. What you are hearing is the H/B actuator, if your lucky you might get away with servicing and adjusting the hand brake. Worst case is you will need a new actuator.
