Does it have ACE fitted you can tell by looking behind drivers headlight, if there is a reservoir with a yellow cap on just behind headlight it does and you shouldn't get much if any roll on cornering / bends Nanocom Evo |

Steve's car is a TDv8 so it has the Dynamic Handling pack as standard, worth checking the hydraulic fluid level, but I would have thought that if the handling was way out due to lack of fluid you would get the warning light on the dash with the car with left and right arrows over it. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Ok thanks, I will check the fluid etc, the car just seems to float on uneven surfaces and feels unstable on the back end if you run over a rut in the road. I have had new bushes on the nsr corner and 4 wheel alignment carried out, body roll seems minimal though? |

Tried it out over the weekend, the fluid level is ok, it seems to be the rear that bounces and floats over the bumps, dampers maybe? |

Thats where it came from! It had the worst case of corroded rear brake pipes the MOT tester had ever seen! |

I am trying to work out which rear anti roll bar bushes I need, so do I order the ones for a vehicle with ACE? |

TDV8 all have "ACE" although that is an old term for it.

I can scare myself sometimes how fast this car will take country bends with ACE fitted, I had the standard bushes replaced with Land Rover standard ones as my Indie had, had complaints about the Polybushes being too hard 07,TDV8,Black, Black Heated leather all round, Rear Entertainment with Headpones & Remote, TV, DVD, Pure Dab Digital Radio, Sidesteps, Adaptive Headlights, sunroof, now working fuel burning heater ![]() |

I don't think wallowing in corners is the ARB bushes anyway. Worn ARB bushes make a knocking noise on uneven surfaces. It's very obvious. Wallowy handling is more likely to be tired dampers. It might be worth having the dynamic response system bled and/or a new filter put in the valve block (on the chassis rail below the driver's seat if you look under the car). The ARB drop links aren't expensive and can wear putting some flex in the system.

I think may you be right, we have not had the vehicle very long and it may just be down to my inexperience, the more I drive it the more I like it! I think maybe I am now getting used to the air suspension. Still have the bushes to fit to sort the clonking.
