I CAN CONFIRM that the app on an iPhone works on the new MY 16 car if it has a FBH.
My car is only five days old and I started the climate control yesterday when some distance from my car. I arrived about half an hour later to find the car nice and warm. All I did was press the Climate Start button on my phone.
Very pleased!

United Kingdom

Used remote heating for the first time today. Usual smoke and smell at first but cleared after a few minutes. Entered a warm cabin about 10 minutes later. In fact a bit too warm and climate control had to cool it down after I started the car and remote operation ended. I am not complaining ... will be great when it is proper cold Very Happy Current: Volvo XC90 T8 Inscription Pro PHEV with some optionals on top
