Scotland 2010 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Santorini Black
L494 Autobiography Upgrades

Long term RRS forum members will know i like to mess about with my sports. I got a cracking deal on spec'd up HSE in Corris Grey which didn't have the colour coding, so i set about doing it myself. What a Job it was. L494 isn't as easy as the older models to remove the bumper.

Bought a set of Autobiography bumper corners and fitted them to my std bumper, whilst colour coding the door mouldings. Also change all the silver bits to black. Cool

There a few bits till to go, id like to get black side vents and paint the roof and tailgate trim black. The car currently has piano black interior trims but I think I'm going to swap them for carbon fibre.

If anyone fancys the AB corners I have another set (front and rear) in corris grey ready to fit.

I never realised the bumper corners were different. And there's me thinking all my HSE needs is colour coding.

It looks great in Corris though.

Yes they are indeed different! The rear bumper corner inserts have vents in them and the front are slightly more aggressive. You can't really tell the difference in the front ones once painted but there is certainly a difference in the rears. Thankfully if you want a fake autobiography then these parts are not very expensive Wink

I've just painted mine and not worried about changing parts - happy enough as it makes the car look nicer IMHO.

but I`m so undecided if I should do it to mine or not. I do actually like the silver/grey bits.

I think they look great but long term they will show signs of wear with stone chips .

The standard black plastics I took off show signs of wear from stone chips. I'm actually thinking of removing the pumper and painting the whole thing as the black plastics are stone chipped as well.
