Hi ok so I picked up my RRS sc on Saturday and I have a couple questions hope somebody can help.
1. Is there a way of making the indicator one touch for 3 blinks rather than just the once?

2. Battery was dead before i picked it up and is now showing HDC fault could it be low vaultage if so I have a battery reconditioner will that restore it?

3. Is there any Electrical mods I can do to update the system (2006) as my previous car was an Audi so was able to add things like dial sweep, speedo on sat nav screen, mirror dip in reverse, beep on lock/ unlock

4. Take me home lights only light up when lock is there a way of making the lights come on when unlocked?

2. I had the same fault on mine when I first went to view it. Dealer put a new battery in it and after the drive home it disappeared. Give the charger a go to make sure the battery is fully charged - the RRS really doesn't like having fluctuating voltage.

3. Mirror dip on reverse... not sure if it is standard but my SC does this - you can enable it from the settings accessible by pushing the button in the end of the indicator stalk. Don't think the other things are possible.

4. Don't think so but you can program the Land Rover button on your fob to make them come on whenever it's pressed

As Zaphod pointed out, this can be done - it requires updating the Body Control Module software and editing the CCF (Car Configuration File).

There's no way, to my knowledge of programming it other than the 3rd key button. Interior lights will come on when the car is unlocked so, if you really wanted to, you could wire something up with a few relays etc.  Visiting from DISCO3.CO.UK

I activated the beep on lock/unlock but turned it off today as it was annoying me.
You will need to either purchase an IID tool or get someone to do it for you. Current 2010 Range Rover Sport HSE with the usual toys: timed climate, Rosen headrest screens, tow bar with twin electrics, Blackvue HD cam

I would like to do all those mods in the link provided as they are something I do miss, the knowing when the lights are on is also very handy, and the clock on dash would be good also as it looks a little bare on the little digital screen also the sat nav whilst on the move is a very good mod which will be needed. I will take the battery off and stick it on our battery reconditioner, will I loose any settings or radio codes etc etc if so would it be better to leave on the car and charge? Cheers
