Hi guys

Ive got 22 inch alloys on my RRS with 285/30/22's all round and thinking of fitting spacers on the wheels to stick them out a little.

Was wandering if anyone here have spacers fitted? how many mm? and weres the best place to get them from?

I like the look spacers give but have never heard any good reports about them

I'm new here and have no experience of fitting them to a RRS but it's something I looked into doing years ago on my Jeep. After some research I decided it was best to avoid it... lots of conflicting advice but the were enough mentions of problems with increased wheel bearing wear, extra strain put on suspension components etc. to put me off. The bigger the spacer the bigger the issue too.

Never mind, maybe its best to stay away from them

I wouldn't fit them. This is a 2.5 tonne car. It needs all the support it can get where it meets the road.

I fitted 30mm spacers to my car. Ran them for 12k miles so far with no issues

Did u have spacers on all 4 wheels? What size wheels do u have on the rrs with the spacers? Any particular spacers u recommend?

Spacers on all 4 wheels

Actually had them on a D3, and with 19" D4 wheels. Wheels wouldn't clear the Brembo calipers, so needed spacers.

I bought them 2nd hand (but only 2 weeks old) for £80 IIRC

I did have pictures someplace. Will see if I can find them...

did you fit the spacers in the end? any one got any pics of a sport with spacers on?

have recently got some black mulitspoke revere WC2's and having spent 2K on them i'd like to have them stand out a bit more!

i went back to the place that fitted them RTEC in st albans on saturday, and they told me it wasnt possible. Im not sure why.

Buy spacers, fit them, and car looks more awesome
