Scotland 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black
Screech from EPB

Hi Lads

The other day when I used the EPB got a load screech from what appeared to be the Passengers rear wheel.also got EPB failure alarm on the dash.
Switched the car off and restarted and all alarms had cleared .The EPB appears to be working okay now but there is now a click at the passengers rear wheel just as the the brake is at final stage of applying. Any ideas what could be happening with this.
Need to use the car over the weekend and not got time to check before I go ,here's hoping all is okay. Confused

Just stop using it until you have time (or can get someone) to strip and clean/adjust.

Put some tape over the switch or as said, remove the fuse.

Screech from EPB

Thanks for all the replies lads.

I am hoping to get a look at it on Wednesday / Thursday so hopefully it is just a clean a re-adjust as suggested by everyone.

Done Discs and pads over a year ago and the Handbrake shoes looked ok. So will investigate further .

Thanks Very much again for all the help. Smile

Panda,
Have a look through the brake bible (see the link in my sig) and you should see the Various pins and springs/clips etc in the images. Thumbs Up Bodsys Brake Bible
