The joint starts to seize up after a while. Try wd40 on it first, if it makes it easier, then that's the problem. Bodsys Brake Bible

 so not sure but a fast search points to a pump? I've it booked to go to a service in 2 weeks so ill have them check but like to be fore armed than caught out with car science by a sales man.
