So my park brake is making the familiar squealing noise, im going to take a look at it and im presuming it needs adjusting.
reading the guides it says if im just adjusting it and not removing the disc i dont need to put it in service mode but if im removing the disc and doing further work i should, obviously i have no way of doing this.
i am only planning on adjusting it at the moment but i was wanting to remove the disc to see how much material is on the shoes as it may be that they need replacing.
So basically my question is do i really need to put it in service mode? whats this job like? as it looks like everything will be seized up but the guides as always make it look so straight forward haha

Have you tried the brake bible....? It should give you all the steps you need. I would take the disk off to copper slip all the friction points and then adjust it.  Bodsys Brake Bible

whats the adjuster like for seizing up?
also as a daft as this may sound when it refers to adjustment in "clicks" is a single click one notch on the adjuster wheel?
