Evening all. Just thought I would say hello having last week purchased my first RRS. I have had 3 Discovery's (2 Disco 3 HSEs (55 and 57) and a 4 XS (11)) and decided to move (on a whim really) to a RRS given the new Discovery in the next 18 months or so. Anyway I have purchased (from Stratstone in Stoke on Trent) a 2013 (62 plate), HSE Black Edition in Orkney Grey, with Ivory leather (see pics). It has lots of kit - split screen TV and DVD (front), HK Logic 7 (14 speakers I think as opposed to 17), fridge, timed climate, privacy glass, 20" 5 spoke alloys (easy to kerb!), luxury (fluffy!) mats, memory pack, dynamic pack and quick release tow bar and electrics (I will be refitting my jaw and ball asap though). It is in spectacular nick given the 27000 miles in 14 months) and I hope it is mechanically sound too (seems to be so far). Stratstone were ok (a bit rushed and they forgot to get the log book from Land Rover (it came from there and is on the way to me as we speak) and seemed unaware of all the extras - still,better than missing bits. Finally...I got one! Proud owner of 2011 RRS HSE 3.0

Didnt want to sign up to forums for years...until I got the car of my dreams lol!

Just got an RR 30pin Ipod cable and a bluetooth A2DP dongle...I can stream internet radio from my Android Samsung Note 3 wirelessly to ICE!
AWESOME! - the days of the cassette adapter with 3.5mm jack in my old JEEP GC are over lol!

Anyways, one more post to make to get security info so I can keep my taillights...

just got my first RRS after owning Beemers for years, been looking in here for a week or two and am well impressed by the amount of help and info posted up, so thought i'd best join.
Only had the RRS for a week but today changed the puddle lights for led's and replaced the shafted/corodid rear tailglass button, all thanks to you guys on here

Oh and gave it it's first wash/polish

Been looking at the forum for a while as I have been trying to decide what to go for and doing some research on options. Finally took the plunge and got myself a 2011 3.0L SE, wanted to go newer but couldnt turn down the amazing deal I got on it! Plan is to get a few miles out of it, then near end of the year look to order a brand new one.

hoping I can contribute or at least learn a lot off others on here as I have considered some mods, dont worry wont be making it pink (ala Jordan) or making it into a convertible!
