Getting the trim away from the rear windows is simple 5 minutes, fire a hose at it to see if it's that

2014 Facelift Discovery

Update - changed the tailgate rubber - checked the front drain holes on the sunroof - they are draining ok - the back drain holes are not does anybody have any idea how they travel through the car ?
I used to park my car on the drive facing downhill - no problems - since I had my spare stolen I now park it the other way round so the Blackvue can record the street not my house. This means any water that is getting into the sunroof is running to the rear drain pipes
I have looked on the D3 Site ( they are good - very good ) but cant seem to find anything to help - there is the idea of running net curtain wire through the pipe but I am concerned I may dislodge any fittings.

The back ones are behind the D pillar and travel down through to the bottom of the car, you nee to remove the D pillars to gain access to them.

The one on the drivers side should exit the bottom of the car with the fuel filler cap drains, the other side will be in the same place, I would just gently push a curtain wire down from the top first and then see if you can see water dripping down at the rear of the car.

Have you got access to a compressor? Blow air up or down the pipe. This will clear it quickly Mike

Go buy a £500 bit of shrapnel and park it with keys in, it'll still be there in the morning
My Fullfat got hit in work the other day by employee in a 350 quid mondeo and he didn't say a word even though he was well aware he had done it. CCTV caught him and yes bumper paint coming out of his pay packet. I park my L200 everywhere, it's filthy dirty and no one goes within 10 feet of it. Just doesn't give the same pleasure driving about.
Looked at an Alfa 159 sport wagon today as a cheaper smoke with a bit of performance, not sure if I wouldn't be jumping out of the pot into the fire with regards to reliability  2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀
TDV8 Sport HSE...... Gone. Loved it but it didn't love me!!
Now rolling in MY10 Fullfat TDV8 Vogue. Slammed it to go round corners🙈
Cruising daily #56 mph in a Volvo V8. 😱
Lots of other toys in the cupboard...😜

I had this problem with my 07 once and never got to the bottom of it, but it has never happened again. There was a Technical Bulletin issued by Land Rover for the earlier models for an amendment of the A pillar if you can get hold of it..good luck.. Also no sunroof in mine to cause confusion..

Just another post to offer support and solidarity! Stick with it - water leaks are annoying but not the end of the world.

If it makes you feel any better I came back to the car after having been out for a good run yesterday and found the dreaded heavy condensation on the inside of the windscreen. Quick check revealed soaking wet front passenger carpet.

Closer look this morning shows water dripping from the bottom edge of the lower glovebox. Found a TSB on loose fitting plenum chamber cover allowing water into pollen filter so hopefully that's it. Biggest hassle might be drying everything out. 2008 MY Java Black TDV8 HSE
