2007 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Cairns Blue

I had a 3 month old Sport last week while Fullfat being sorted. It did this too, radio and Bluetooth music. Cut out for 1-2 secs, a crackle, then sound came back. Mentioned it and the none locking problem car had. Even though the electric lid closed itself, it wasn't fully closed. They didn't comment on the stereo issue. 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀
TDV8 Sport HSE...... Gone. Loved it but it didn't love me!!
Now rolling in MY10 Fullfat TDV8 Vogue. Slammed it to go round corners🙈
Cruising daily #56 mph in a Volvo V8. 😱
Lots of other toys in the cupboard...😜

2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Zermatt Silver

Same verdict from my LR dearler - its the DVB/DAB module and an incompatability problem with the channel tuning updates. No LR solution yet, but they are workig on it

Service manager told me the same thing - a temporary fix is set the TV to United States. Obviously this means the TV will not work, but it shouldn't pick up the tuning information. SDV6 HSE, Indus Silver/Ebony

2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 Autobiography Santorini Black

My 10/2012 RRS Autobiography is going in today for some warranty work, the audio crackle problem being one of them and I'm told there is a software update................we shall see but i'm not getting my hopes up. Let you know what happens.

Well you'll be interested to know that following a 20min journey home the audio didn't skip a beat, neither did i hear any crackle when volume is turned off. I made sure to test TV, DAB, iPod and FM and there was no interruption of signal. According to LR it was a necessary software update which has been carried out. Keep you posted if anything changed but it would appear to have been remedied.

2011 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Buckingham Blue

Started on mine straight after recent service, on all ICE options..
Suspected a loose wire somewhere due to the 'tick' sound when it goes off, but so random there's no link to the driving condition.

Checked here before calling dealer ... Relief to find its not just me
Call going in tomorrow to add to the number of cases, hoping to jolt a solution response out of JLR. MY11 RRS HSE

Wow i started a great thread,
I did notice if you view the tv when the crackles happens the tv switches off, so I do think its defo the DVB module. Trouble is tv tv system seems to always be changing at the moment they will more unlikely fix one issue only to be affected by another in a few months time, oh joy RRS 3 Autobiography P460e 2025

Having now read this thread, starting my own ('Lost audio') wasn't necessary!
I'll bring this up with my dealer as my car is in for service in a few weeks. US TV until then it seems 2016 VW Golf GTD DSG

So did it fix it - Dealers are saying there isnt a solution Mike

I think JLR are too busy sorting production problems out for the new sport to care about us customers who have helped get them to where they are now.
