I assume that you have them set to come on with the ignition. If so where did you take your switched 12v from.

I had to route it from the engine firewall straight into the fuse box in the passenger side. A big and long inconvenience because to find a 12v fuse which switches on with the engine on the engine bay fuse box was impossible. I couldn't find a single fuse there.
